How to use this with Free MCBoot.
Step 1.
Start your PS2 and put in the game disk you want to play.
For some people the CB won't load if there is no disk in the PS2.
Step 2.
Either launch it from the main menu (Ask at the Official Free MC Boot Forums for instructions on how to put it on the main menu)
Or open up uLaunchELF and open Codebreaker from there.
Step 3.
While the Codebreaker is up and running, select 'Select Cheats' (Gun Icon).
You are now at the 'Code List'.
If you don't do this next step it's on you when your CB save corrupts!
While in the code list go through the titles of the games and delete the ones you know you'll never use by hitting Triangle then X.
When done go through the individual games and delete codes you know you'll never use and redundant codes. (See example)
Example: Final Fantasy X
Has many redundant codes.
Near the beginning of the list you'll see a code for Max Status (All Characters & Summons) and further down the list you'll see
Code: [Check Download Links]
Auron Codes
Max Agility
Max Luck
Ect.For each and every character and summon DELETE THEM and use the Max Status (All Characters & Summons) code as it does the same thing and those codes take up MAJOR space.
The reason I'm telling you this is because if the CB's save file gets 1mb or bigger IT WILL CORRUPT and you'll have to start over.
Step 4.
While in the code list find the name of the game you want to use cheats for.
While the little gray and blue marker is next to the name of the game press left on the D-pad.
You are now in the 'Cheat List'.
Go through the cheat list and put the marker next to the cheat you want to activate and hit X.
When you have selected all the cheats you want to use hit Start.
You are at CB's main menu again.
Select 'Start Game' (CD Icon) hit X then you'll see an insert game message, if you didn't already now would be the time to put in your game disk.
Press X again.
You are now back at uLauchELF.
Step 5.
From uLaunchELF.
Hit the button you have assigned for ESR.
Or if you don't have it assigned open 'FileBrowser' (Default is Circle button) browse to your ESR elf and launch it. and away you go.
This also works for HD Advance and retail games as well.
For retail games (ones you bought) instead of running ESR elf, in FileBrowser scroll down to 'MISC' and in there run 'PS2Disk'.
How to use Day1 files and Game saves (Copy ands paste from official site)
Quote:
Note: If you have one of the latest, slim PS2 models (the sticker on the back will have a model number of SCPH-75001 or higher), skip to the bottom of this post and read the last entry. This will likely answer your question.
1. Q: What do I need to use Day 1?
A: A CodeBreaker version 7 or higher, and a compatible USB flash drive. There is also a Day 1 device that offers fewer features, but comes with a USB flash drive.
Special note: You must have the retail version 7 or higher. If you have version 7, and it does not have the Day 1 feature, that is because you have either downloaded, or purchased a leaked beta that was never meant for sale. Regardless of how you came by it, we cannot support it, and Day 1 will never work on it.
.
2. Q: What USB flash drives are compatible with CodeBreaker version 7 and up?
A: An official list existed at one time, but a new generation of flash drives comes out about every three months, and older drives disappear from most major retail outlets. It's just impossible to test every drive. Play it safe and buy one that works for somebody else, or keep your receipts!
As a general rule of thumb, you should stick with devices having a 128 MB capacity or below. This is plenty for the CodeBreaker. If you already own a USB drive with a greater capacity, and it does not work with the CodeBreaker, you may be able to fix the problem by using a powered hub in conjunction with the drive. Plug the hub into the PS2, and the drive into the hub. If this does not work, the only solution we can offer is to buy a compatible drive. Future versions of the CodeBreaker may fix the incompatibility, but the time in between versions is far too long for that to be a viable option.
.
3. Q: Can I use my PSP, MP3 player, digital camera, other USB device instead of a USB flash drive?
A: It might work. As long as the device uses a file system the CodeBreaker can read, and you follow the other rules, you have a fair shot at getting it to work. Try it and find out. If it does not work, then no harm is done, but Pelican will not be updating the USB drivers to make it work, and this site will not be able to provide support to get it to work. Aside from offering the same tips we offer to people using USB flash drives.
.
4. Q: I bought the Day 1 device (in the red box). Why does my computer keep giving me space errors when I try to save to the drive? / Why does the drive show such a tiny amount of space?
A: Because the drive is tiny. The Day 1 device comes with a USB drive that has approximately 110 KB of storage. I have written text files larger than this. I recommend not buying the Day 1 device. First off, it is just a CodeBreaker with a severely reduced feature set. Secondly, the only real reasons to buy it are because it comes with a USB drive that is guaranteed to be compatible, and it is about five dollars or ten dollars cheaper than a full CodeBreaker. However, the drive is so small that you will almost immediately need to replace it. In the end, a full version of the CodeBreaker, and a decent USB drive are a much better investment.
.
5. Q: Whenever I try to save a Day 1 file, it downloads as index.php, etc. What gives?
A: The site redirects you to the appropriate file. If the security settings in your browser, firewall, download manager, or any security plugins prevent this, the download may not occur properly.
.
Final Fantasy X Cheats
6. Q: When I try to download a Day 1 file, the file name saved to my drive differs from the file in the download boxA: Some browsers automatically append things like, '[1]', '[2]', ' - 1', and others automatically in order to keep from overlaying files. You have probably downloaded the file once before. Either use or delete the old file, or change your browser settings. In Firefox, choosing to select the save path for all downloads disables this sort of file name altering.
.
7. Q: 1. My CodeBreaker (version 7.0 - 9.0) freezes when I attempt to add the file for game X.
2. My CodeBreaker (version 9.1 or higher) displays an error message 'Out of Memory' followed by some numbers when I attempt to add the file for game x.
A: This problem occurs when adding the file causes the code list to grow too large for the CodeBreaker to handle. You can either delete some games from the list, and free up enough space for the file, or start another save on a new memory card.
The CodeBreaker sets aside a finite amount of space in memory for its code list. The amount of space was apparently chosen using the 'pick a high number we will never, ever reach' methodology. Unfortunately, it is now possible to exceed the amount of memory allocated. On version 9.1 and higher, this problem is stopped before it gets out of control. On lesser versions, there is no error check for it, and the only way the problem obviates itself is when the CodeBreaker freezes, or, perhaps worse, the code save on your memory card becomes corrupted. The problems that can arise from this problem are covered as-needed in other FAQs on this forum. During a Day 1 upload, the only problem you will see is this freeze.
Bear in mind that this is a memory, i.e. RAM, limitation, and not a memory card limitation. Theoretically, yes, you could have a 7-8 MB code list, but the CodeBreaker would not be able to load it into memory so you could use it.
.
8. Q: Why is there no Day 1 file for game x?
A:
1. If there are no codes on the site for the game, then there is nothing to put in the Day 1 file.
2. If the game is fairly old, then it may predate the Day 1 feature, and its codes should be pre-loaded on the CodeBreaker CD.
3. In other cases it may be an oversight, or creation of the file may be held up by other concerns. All new games will get a Day 1 file as soon as time permits.
4. If you are using the network adapter as your source for Day 1 downloads, see the responses to the next couple of questions.
.
9. Q: I am trying to use the network adapter to download Day 1 files directly from the server, but it will never connect. Why is that?
A:Pelican/PDP has discontinued the CodeBreaker product. There are various reasons, but mainly because they want to try their hand at game publishing, and manufacturing a cheat device could hinder them. Since the product was discontinued, the Day 1 server is no longer available. Online downloads of code files and saves will no longer work.
.
10. Q: I am using Day 1 with the network adapter, why is the list in such a random order, and is it possible to sort it?
A: It is impossible to sort the list. The CodeBreaker retrieves Day 1 files by last update in descending order. The latest files will be at the top of the list. If you are searching for an older file, all you can do is manually search.
.
Final Fantasy X Pnach Free Download
11. Q: I am using Day 1 with the network adapter, why are some games missing from that list?
A: The build date of the CodeBreaker is inserted into the query that builds the file list. In theory, you should not need Day 1 files from before that date. In practice, this leads to a small gap that will cause a handful to perhaps a dozen or two files to be excluded when they should not be. There is no way to change this. Unless those files are updated, causing the last update date to be more recent than the date hard-coded into the query, they will always be excluded from the list.
You can either enter the codes manually, or load the Day 1 file with a USB drive.
.
12. Q: Is it possible for me to make my own Day 1 files?
A: Yes, you can now make your own Day 1 files for the PS2. it will be coming back soon
.
13. Q: My CodeBreaker does not recognize my USB flash drive.
A:
1. Check your drive. If you have any folders on the drive, back them up to your computer, delete them from your drive, and try again. On some drives, having folders on them seems to prevent the CodeBreaker from reading it correctly.
2. Try reformatting the drive. CodeBreaker version 7 only supports FAT16 (a.k.a. just plain FAT). CodeBreaker version 8 and up supports FAT16, FAT12, and FAT32. FAT16 is a good catch all.
3. You may have an incompatible drive. Check the compatibility list above. You may want to post asking if anyone has the same drive. Somebody else may know a trick to get it to work (some drives will only work if you hook up a powered hub, for example). If your USB drive is incompatible, there is nothing that can be done to make it work. A new CodeBreaker version may increase compatibility, but not necessarily, and the period between major versions is about 6-12 months. Your best bet is to exchange the drive for one that is known to be compatible.
4. If you have the latest PS2 Slim Model (SCPH-75001 or higher): Sony has made some key modifications to this revision of the PS2. It seems that the changes they have made to the USB hardware have rendered the CodeBreaker's USB drivers inoperable. This is likely due to use of a newer and probably cheaper chipset. The change does not seem to effect software that uses Sony's USB drivers, but Pelican's home-brew drivers do not operate (Pelican cannot use Sony's drivers for legal reasons). A future version of the CodeBreaker will likely fix this problem. For now, there is no fix for this on your unit.

I've started a thread for my current project of building a cheat compilation for the Final Fantasy X game. The reason for this is that I wanted to direct discussion into an open place without bogging the patch thread.Final Fantasy X Pcsx2 Cheats
What I want everyone to do:
-Keep in mind I did not hand-make all these codes. Many are stolen from the patch thread, and are therefore the product of the blood, sweat, and tears of the hard working people on these forums. If you are one of these people and would like physical credit given to you, just tell me (and post a link to where you previously posted the code) and I will give credit where it's due. In the meantime, I will NOT list my sources, because often times, I only used one here, one there, etc.
Final Fantasy X Download For Pc
-Review my list. Download it, test it, comment on what works, what doesn't, and even spell check the text in the patch file itself if you like.
-Suggest additions. PLEASE! If you have codes you'd like me to add to the list, speak up! Completed code is very much appreciated if such exists. If not, I will do my best to come up with it myself.
-Please do not spam me asking about creating the list for another version. I made this for PAL-E, because that's what I play, so for now, that's all there will be. When I get the spare time, I will begin work to make NTSC.
Without further adieu, here is the most recent patch file:
